HAF – A Decade of Great Projects

Entering its 10th edition, HAF continues to bring great Asian projects to world cinema. To date, projects that have made BIG waves include:

- Mother by BONG Joon-ho (South Korea)
- Bodyguards and Assassins by Teddy CHEN (Hong Kong)
- City of Life and Death by LU Chuan (China)
- The Good the Bad the Weird by KIM Jee-woon
   (South Korea)
- Seediq Bale by WEI Te-Sheng
   (Taiwan, released in late 2011)

To further supporting Chinese-speaking young talents and Chinese-language films, HAF 2012 project entry opens together with HAF Script Development Fund and FOX Chinese Film Development Award (new Award in 2012). Applicants need only submit one application to participate in all 3 initiatives.

Artist-in-Residence Programme 2012
2 Months in Berlin

In 2012 - the “Hong Kong – Berlin 24/7” artist-in-residence programme allows one Hong Kong film professional to live in Berlin for 2 months (May 15 – July 15, 2012) so he/she can develop his/her skills and learn about the film industry in Germany.

• The programme covers: - travel costs; - housing; - allowance (up to 1,000.- EUR/month).
