34th HKIFF Kicks Off with Two Star-Studded Opening Galas – Crossing Hennessy and Like a Dream

Donatella Versace to present New Best Costume Designer Award at the 4th AFA
Renowned fashion icon Donatella VERSACE will be presenting the Best Costume Designer Award at the 4th Asian Film Awards (AFA) to be held on the 22nd March, 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Film Financing Forum
(HAF), the organisers of
the HAF are honoured to
present a new award
named the Wouter
Barendrecht Award.
As the founder of
Fortissimo Films,
BARENDRECHT had been
credited with helping a
generation of Asian
filmmakers to reach a
global audience,
including WONG Kar-wai,
IWAI Shunji, TIAN
Zhuang-zhuang, WANG
Xiao-shuai, ZHANG Yang,
RATANARUANG Pen-ek and
ZHANG Yuan.
Along with the Wouter
Barendrecht Award, four
other awards will also
be presented to
recognise outstanding
potential: two HAF
Awards, Technicolor
Asia Awards and Paris
